General Filtration MAX PES Capsule Filters can be customized as an OEM product. The large capsule filter is specially designed for applications that require sterilization to reduce the bio-burden of the filtrate. It has a bacterial removal capacity of LRV7. Compared with traditional capsule filters, capsule filters have a higher filtration area, which results in a longer service life. This reduces the need for frequent filter changes. There is a standard 10-inch cartridge inside, and the membrane is made of imported asymmetric polyethersulfone membrane to ensure higher flux. Due to the low protein binding properties of the polyethersulfone membrane, the product can be widely used in food and beverage and biopharmaceuticals. We offer sizes with a minimum pore size of 0.01 µm and a minimum bubble point of 70 psig (4.8 bar).

PES capsule filters are a family of full-size capsule filters for in-line integrity testing. The filter consists of a single hydrophilic polyethersulfone membrane in an all-polypropylene construction. It offers broad chemical compatibility, high flow rates at low pressure drops, and low extractables. Polyethersulfone is particularly well suited for filtration of products containing substances that can be absorbed by the membrane itself. The low protein binding properties of polyethersulfone make it ideal for filtration of valuable protein solutions such as vaccines and biologicals.
